What we offer
An adjustment is a safe, holistic procedure whereby a chiropractor moves or manipulates the vertebrae of the spine. This is done to alleviate nerve pressure or irritation to a spinal nerve or area and in global terms impacts the whole nervous system. Spinal adjustments do not hurt and are painless in most cases.
An adjustment is performed when the chiropractor locates one or more misaligned vertebrae in the spine. Dr. Hershey will usually explain what type of techniques he will use with a patient and why.
There are other areas of the body that can be adjusted as well such as the hips, pelvis, hands, feet, wrists, ankles, elbows, knees, shoulders, and ribs. The jaw can also be manipulated.
Additional therapies may include X-Rays, T-Zone vibration technology, mechanical traction (massage), orthotic fitting and nutritional support.
Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques
NAET is a revolutionary way to help eliminate allergies for good. This method is non-invasive, natural and a drug-free holistic treatment. NAET is safe for everyone from infants to the elderly.
Almost any substance can cause sensitivity or allergy within the body.
In 1983, Devi Nambudripad D.C., L.Ac., M.D., Ph.D. (Acu.), discovered NAET and has continually developed the techniques through the integration of Eastern and Western medicine.
The treatment is based on principles of acupuncture and chiropractics, using gentle pressure on the spine.
NAET treatments reprogram the nervous system to quit over-reacting to the irritating substance. Once accepted, the body heals itself and the treatments are usually permanent. However, some patients may need repeat treatments until an allergy is fully eliminated.
